Preparing financial statements is really beyond the capabilities of some who doesn’t learn first how to do bookkeeping.

But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t understand something about how they go together – otherwise you’ll be flying blind when you sign your tax returns – or prepare cash flows for investors. Alex Glassey – a software developer and entrepreneur out of Victoria, BC – has done a credible job of putting together a business planning tool for very early stage companies called STRATPAD.
